That’s So Philly chooses many young talented teens to be featured weekly on their page. Recently they featured teen musician Jacky Coyne Damis with a different version of the songs “Wrecking Ball” and “Blurred Lines.” Jacky started singing a few years ago. Jacky taught herself how to play the piano and has been playing the violin since she was 5. She likes to play the guitar the most over the rest. She writes her own music too but her songs don’t have a specific genre. She says they are very different from each other and are all over the place.
She likes a wide variety of music genres from R&B to Rap to Jazz. However, she doesn’t like country music at all. Jacky also likes different artists such as Lana Del Ray, Etta James, Lil Wayne, Liana La Haves, Lorde and more. They all inspire her in completely different ways. Jacky says that when she grows up she wants to be famous or at least well known. To see more check out the That’s So Philly Facebook page.
