On Monday, the STAMP Teen Council had our bi-monthly meeting at Eastern State Penitentiary. We got to tour certain sections of the museums that aren’t even open to the public yet! We got to walk around the fields, and even got a peek at the underground solitary confinement which is…creepy. We opened a few cell doors and took some epic selfies in the old cells (*cough* dungeons).
We even caught a glimpse of some Terror Behind the Walls attractions. Trust and believe you’ll be terrified if you go! Speaking of Terror Behind the Walls: It’s still going on now through November 9th! You can buy your tickets at http://www.easternstate.org/halloween/visit/schedule-prices and see the most amazing and easily the scariest haunted house in Philly. It’s half-off for students on Sundays so take advantage of that!
And if you just want to visit the museum to learn about a very controversial, historical, and mysterious landmark, then use your STAMP Pass and check it out for free!
