STAMP: The Virginia and Harvey Kimmel Family Teen Program
Teen Council Application

Be in the conversation: join the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance’s teen council to help us shape arts & culture throughout the region, guide the STAMP program and advocate for teen access to the arts.

Teen council members meet in Center City once a month from September to June on Monday afternoons and work closely with Cultural Alliance staff and representatives from the 21 member institutions. Council members are compensated with a stipend based on meeting and event attendance.

If you reside and attend a high school in the city of Philadelphia, and have a strong interest in arts & culture and peer leadership, fill out the application form below and send a letter of recommendation from a teacher, adviser or mentor to stamp@philaculture.org. The deadline to apply is May 31.

  • Please note you must be a Philadelphia resident ages 14-19 to join the STAMP Teen Council.
  • Question 1: Tell us about your personal connection to arts & culture, and why it is important to you. (For example: Do you participate in school plays? Visit museums? Make artwork?)

Question 2: Tell us about your experience living in Philadelphia. What makes you proud to live here, and what would you do to improve the city?

If you have any questions, contact STAMP at stamp@philaculture.org.

Remember: Your application is not complete until you also have a teacher, adviser or mentor email a letter of recommendation to STAMP@philaculture.org!
