Hello again everyone! This month I had the amazing opportunity of seeing Simpatico Theatre and Drexel University’s production of Richard Adams’ Watership Down at the Mandell Theatre. Along with getting to see this incredible play, performed impeccably well, I also had the honor of interviewing the working artists behind the production. Through this interview process, I was able to view the original sketches of the hand drawn sets that were projected behind the actors. I also had the opportunity to talk with the puppeteer, who had the crucial role of portraying all the characters (rabbits and humans) that correspond with the scene being performed. If you are interested in finding out more information about the the production, you can check out the Simpatico website here. Also, don’t miss out on seeing this show which runs until November 22.
