Well the Butterfly Exhibit at the Academy of Natural Sciences transports you back to those childhood days. And no its not what you’re thinking. It’s not just a room full of boards covered in facts and pictures. But there are over 100 real life butterflies in the room with you, free to land on your shoulders if they wished. The Butterfly Exhibit is a room full of free beautiful butterflies from all over the world. Here you get the chance to see butterflies from Central America, South America and East Asia. These are creatures you’d have to travel halfway across the world to see anything like them. This exhibit is so nice because you have the chance to feel connected to nature without having to feel afraid because of the gentle nature of butterflies. The butterflies don’t bite, hurt, or attack guest in anyway, and handle outside stimuli surprisingly well. Aside from butterflies they also have other exotic creatures behind cases, like the
They also have praying mantis’, small frogs, and stick bugs displayed in different parts of the exhibit. The butterfly exhibit is soo much fun and it really did brighten my day.
