Are you looking for something to do on Thanksgiving? Don’t have any special plans? The annual Philadelphia Thanksgiving day Parade is being held at 8:15am on the streets of 20th and JFK Boulevard and towards the east on 16th street. This is the oldest Thanksgiving parade in the country, and this year will be its 95th year. The parade features balloons, floats, special guests, and more.
The Thanksgiving Day Parade is 1.4 miles long featuring eye-catching floats and balloons along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
Want to get the best view of the parade? One spot would be the Philadelphia Museum of Art steps where the end of the parade is at. The Parkway is also a great spot if you want to watch the parade as it goes by. 6ABC is hosting beverages, music, and more at Eakins Oval at the museum from 8:30am to noon.
Take your family and friends for early holiday fun!
