Join PhillyCore Leaders, the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance and the Mayor’s Office of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy on Wednesday, October 21, 5:30 – 7:30pm, at the Clef for a rendition of School Play.
Director Edward Sobel and Public Citizens for Children & Youth. School Play explores our attitudes toward public education using the real voices of Pennsylvanians from across the Commonwealth.
This rendition will bring together real parents, students and community stakeholders to give voices to the problems caused by the inadequate funding of our schools.
After the performance a panel of educators and parents will discuss ways they have overcome the funding crisis and provide students with the education and support they deserve.
