Freedom Foundation at Valley Forge

Equal in motivation and knowledge as a historical museum is the Freedom Foundation at Valley Forge.  Dedicated to informing and encouraging all American citizens to embrace their right’s and responsibilities to the society . The Freedom Foundation has created a three day experience conference. Where high school student’s interact with experts on citizenship, democracy, the free enterprise system, the judicial system and the American Political process. With a respected discussion  between Mr. John Adams and Mr. Thomas Jefferson, students were able to experience a mock debate between the two men. As well as participate on the voting aspect. Lectures from Dr. Graham Lee and Dr. Bruce Murphy helped students understand how the bill of rights can affect a person under the law. With further acknowledgement of the bill of right, a mock debate was held for the altering of the Proposed American Security Act. This led students to further investigate what was constitutional and unconstitutional stated by the Bill of Rights. There was also a lecture on the economic structure of the United States, which is structured by free enterprise.
